“A WHO’S who of Hunter Valley winemakers are in the running for the 2014 Hunter Valley Legends and Wine Industry Awards.
In their eighth year, the awards recognise the outstanding achievements of those in the world-renowned Hunter Valley wine industry.
In the winemaker of the year category, nods have gone to Jim Chatto, of McWilliam’s Mount Pleasant, Andrew Margan, of Margan Family Wines, Andrew Thomas, of Thomas Wines, and Usher Tinkler, of Tinklers Wines.
Meanwhile, Stuart Hordern (Brokenwood Wines), Jessica McLeish (McLeish Estate Wines) and Belinda Stapleton (Spicers Vineyard Estate) are nominated in the Rising Star of the Year award, which recognises achievements in winemaking, vineyard management, marketing or sales over the past 12 months.”
