 he girl who started out as a school teacher\, picked up a bass guitar and 
 began to sing the blues. Then she joined Fleetwood Mac and made rock histo
 ry.\n\nAt the height of the Mac’s success she left the band to live a qu
 iet life.  Then she agreed to return\; on the eve of the long-awaited com
 eback tour Christine McVie suddenly decided she wouldn’t go along for th
 e ride after all\, instead tweeting “Sorry folks. No tour”and then she
  changed her mind!\n\nAlways an intriguing figure\, Christine’s contrary
  attitude to global fame\, ridiculous wealth\, love and loss\, personal pr
 ivacy\, songwriting and music is at the heart of her story. In a career th
 at so far spans four decades\, the enigmatic McVie is brought to life in t
 his play-with-music by the award-winning Catherine Alcorn who brings her o
 wn magic to some of the most memorable songs of the 20th century including
  Little Lies\, Everywhere\, Don’t Stop and Songbird.
