In Pokolbin, Usher Tinkler Wines opened its first cellar door at McDonalds Road almost two weeks ago and Thomas Wines opened a new cellar door at Hermitage Road on Friday.
Greenway Wines is set to open its new cellar door at Broke imminently.
Andrew Thomas, of Thomas Wines, told the Mercury that he took the plunge because it felt like the right time to open a cellar door.
“As far as I’m concerned, the Hunter Valley wine brand has never been stronger,” he said.”
