Daily Activities – Taste and Play!

Explore the Around Hermitage Wine and Food Trail, perhaps hire a bike and travel along our newly constructed cycleway. Enjoy leisurely wine tastings and a lunch at one of our restaurants or cafes.

Experience immersive and fun activities at the cellar door, meet the owners and winemakers and hear their stories.

Wine Theatre at Hunter Resort a new visual experience in Wine Education. We take you on a learning experience with a bracket of 4 wines. Here we teach you how to taste front palate sweetness, acidity, and back palate tannins, and most importantly exercising your nose to appreciate the bouquet of wine.

Hunter Valley Wine School – 2 hour tutorial – The structured wine tutorial covers:  Where and how is wine made? What is its history? What are the grape varieties? How are they different? Blending – Why, and what does one look for with the bouquet, taste, and colour?

Wine Escape Room – At the Wine Escape Room, we host real life escape games which are fun and engaging live action activities which take place in our specially designed room. Work together as a team to solve a series of puzzles that will test your logic, lateral thinking and ingenuity. The Wine Escape Room includes a wine tasting activity and wine smelling activity of some of the best wine in the Hunter Valley.

The Dare! Best described as a cross between an outdoor Escape Room, a Treasure Hunt, Murder Mystery and a Haunted House, all in one – and we are in the Hunter Valley so there is wine of course! Your mission – Should you choose to accept, is to make your way through each section, find the immunity Wine and solve the mystery and escape.
