BRIAN MCGUIGAN

Brian McGuigan established his position as one of Australia’s foremost winemakers and marketers when he founded the Wyndham Estate Wine Company at Dalwood in the Hunter Valley in the 1970’s. As Managing Director of the Wyndham Estate Group he built one of the most successful wine companies in Australia.
In 1991, Brian McGuigan Wines was established and in the years that followed, the brand grew to having sales approaching 10 million cases. In addition to the success here in Australia, the McGuigan wine label is highly successful in Europe, USA and New Zealand due to the exceptional quality of the wines supported by Brian’s policy of managing all their own vineyards.
Brian McGuigan is a Hunter Valley Legend and a friend.

PROF ROBERT LUSBY

Professor Robert Lusby AM is a professor at the University of Sydney and has had an esteemed career in medicine.

He is a vascular surgeon who pioneered the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of vascular disease. In addition to his medical career, Robert is the proprietor of this family-run, internationally acclaimed, vineyard, winery and olive grove, Tintilla.

Robert’s passion for the Hunter Valley and its rich history drives his commitment to excellence at Tintilla. Enjoy Robert’s fascinating history and insights in the development of the wine industry in Australia.

 

LESTER JESBERG

Lester Jesberg is the editor and founding director of WineWise. Lester is and has for many years been a wine show chairman and judge.

Lester loves good wine, whatever its origin and is excited by new favours as he is more focused on the future than the past and constantly travels the wine regions of Australia and the world in his quest for great wine.
